The Best Way To Eat Zucchini Bread

Wednesday, January 20, 2016

Last week while running, I was listening to an episode of Spilled Milk Podcast and stumbled upon the most scrumptious way to eat zucchini bread!

I know, you're probably thinking, who listens to podcasts while running?! Don’t worry, Balazs thinks it's super weird too, but somehow it works better for me than music:)

Anyway, back to the bread, in her podcast, Molly said that a Seattle restaurant owner, Renee Erickson always pan-fries slices of zucchini bread in butter and then sprinkles them with a dash of flaky salt before serving them as a dessert in her restaurant.

On the same evening, I made zucchini bread to try it and it truly blew my mind! This little trick makes this already stellar treat even more delicious with its crispy buttery exterior, soft zucchini middle and a dash of saltiness to intensify and balance it all out. It's a game changer.

Hope you try it! Btw: what's your favourite zucchini bread recipe? Here is mine.

P.S: Also, a nifty cucumber trick and the healthiest bit of your avocado.
P.P:S: Plus, my go-to overnight muesli.

Oh wow that sounds amazing. I love reading a good book on the deck enjoying the sun and snacking on savory baked goods.I really would like to try it. But I seem to need a nice cup of coffee to go with it-
