Oh my goodness, what I’m about to share with you, will make you want to move to Australia just so you can rescue a little baby roo!
A few months ago, Annabelle, her husband and their 3 children from Dumaresq Valley, adopted Honey - a baby joey whose mother was hit by a car. Besides feeding her, loving her, putting her in her pouch and encouraging her to explore the house, this little cutie's favourite pastime is shadowing Annabelle everywhere she goes. They created such a deep bond, that recently Honey joined the whole family on vacation and (wait for it) a bee keeping course as well. Ah, this whole story melts my heart!
If you fancy knowing more, here is an article Annabelle wrote recently on living with a kangaroo. It's so wonderful, isn't it?
P.S: Aww, baby kangaroos sanctuary and the little baby rhino who can't sleep.
P.P.S: Remember this spot in Sydney?
