Are you hosting Christmas this year? If you do, how would you fancy making your home smell jolly? For the past few weeks, I've been experimenting with simmer pot mixtures to find the perfect Christmas blend and I finally managed.
Here it is: simply place in a pot a few fresh pine needles, 3-4 cinnamon sticks, half tablespoon of allspice, and a small serving of cloves with 2 cups of water and simmer throughout the day. In a matter of 20 minutes your whole flat will smell like the most amazing Christmas morning. Promise!
Psst: don't forget to refill the pot with a bit of water every few hours. Also, you can reuse this mix for up to three days and store it in the fridge overnight.
P.S: Here is another one you might like.
