With Thanksgiving only 3 weeks away, how about a little look back at the epic Macy's Parade balloons through the decades? Showcasing fun balloons started in 1927, as a way for Macy’s employees to thank New York and it quickly became a tradition adored by many. I spent this morning looking through those vintage shots that Daily News dag out of their archives and they totally put me in a festive spirit. Ready for the Holidays? xo
P.S: The best thing after Thanksgiving.

These are awesome, I love the giant Kermit :-)
I am ready for the holidays in the sense of wanting the time off, but not ready in the sense of wanting more time to savor the season and to prepare for them!
I love these vintage photos, and the old balloons just seem so much more fun than today's fare.
