Finland's Floating Sauna

Thursday, October 16, 2014

Genius! How would you fancy spending an Indian summer weekend on-board of this floating Finnish sauna in Joensuu, Finland? This gem was designed and built by a group of friends who wanted to create a space where they can relax and unwind. Nifty!

Ah, just imagine renting it for a couple of days, getting toasty in the sauna and cooling off by taking frosty swims in the Finnish river. Supposedly the boat-house also has a trampoline for those who are a bit cheeky, a deck grill so you can make food and a few hammocks for evening naps and cloud spotting. Pretty awesome if you ask me. Thoughts?

Now, this is a great idea. My husband loves saunas and cold beer type of days. Jill
