Swoon! If
you’re planning a trip to
Spain, you shouldn’t miss out on this magical
little spot called San Juan de
Gaztelugatxe. The road to get there is a bit tricky: first you have to follow a narrow pathway, then cross a
little bridge above the sea, and finally walk up on a whopping 231 steps - until you find yourself by this small church,
dating back to the tenth century; and there you are, standing in the middle of the most amazing Spanish
coastline scenery! Supposedly, there are gaps in the steps that are said
to be the footsteps of St. John himself and each footstep has a different healing
power. Also, according to the myth, once you make it to the top, you should ring the
island's church bell three times for good luck.
Ah, just imagine sitting on the very top, gazing
over the views, letting the wind tangle your hair and just breathe! Magical! Have you ever been to Spain? Would you? xo
P.S: Let's
travel!
P.P.S: Plus
tons more spots to daydream about.

Wow, what a gorgeous place. Spain is a brilliant country to explore. I'm hoping for a road trip across the north one of these days. So far I've been to the Canary Islands twice and Barcelona once, but having just married a Spaniard, I'm gauranteed to have quite a few trips to come!
