I’m totally flabbergasted just looking at those images, you? I always knew that space is pretty amazing to look at but who could expect that a bouquet of flowers and a 50-year-old bonsai tree can make space look even more amazing?
Yup, a Tokyo based artist, Azuma Makoto sent those beautiful plants up in the space (approximately 90,000 feet in the air) and documented their journey with the help of six Go Pros and two GPS tracking devices. Azuma Makoto’s dream was to travel to space and his wish finally came true through his art. How awesome is that? xo
P.S: You can see the full process here.
P.P.S: Also, dazzling summer Olympic Games from space and tweeting astronaut :)
