Here is a bit different spin on our exPress-o film club. Gena wrote a fun little piece on winter dates that I can not wait to try. She says that since it's freezing and we are pretty tired of all the gloominess, we shouldn't compromise on our dates. So, instead of going out for a movie and a dinner, she suggests staying in and watching a film while enjoying the ideal meal for that exact movie. She came up with 8 perfect Saturday night films and 8 fitting meals for every one of those films. Those 6 are my favourite, but which pairing would you choose for your Saturday date night in?
Above: Annie Hall and lobster rolls.

Amelie with French onion soup and yogurt brulee.

The Godfather and spaghetti marinara.

Toy Story 3 and mac 'n' cheese.

Sideways and braised short ribs with demi-glaze.

Or Wet Hot American Summer and burgers.
I'm sold on Annie Hall and lobster roll for this upcoming weekend. You? xo
P.S: Lego movies and this awesome movie night under the Brooklyn Bridge lights.
P.P.S: Plus, Life of Pi Parisian style:)

Yes to The Godfather and Spaghetti! It's been ages since I watched TG, I should find some time to do a little marathon and watch all of them :-)
