Where would you like to be this busy Thursday? I’d love to beam myself through to the top photo and spend my day floating about Lake Louise on one of those bright red canoes. I get goose bumps just thinking about how refreshing the mountain air must be early in the morning and how wonderfully crisp the breeze would feel against my cheeks. Wouldn’t it be lovely to switch off for a day and let the nature overtake us? Is it just me or there is something very special about lakes, they are somehow romantic, aren't they? Have you even been to Canada? xo
"A lake is the landscape’s most beautiful and expressive feature. It is earth’s eye; looking into which the beholder measures the depth of his own nature." - Henry David Thoreau
P.S: Plus, a few other swoonworthy lakes!

Wish I could be there too instead of the office. Thank you for the dreamy post. Jill
Wooow!
What a fun romantic getaway! The hubs and I are trying to decide what to do for our anniversary. He keeps suggesting we go camping. This looks like my kind if camping site!

I've been in Canada briefly but never have seen this!
Beautiful! My parents went to Lake Louise a few years ago and I saw it on the Bachelor this season, which reminded me to add it to my wish list of places!
wow, this looks amazing! i've never been to canada and honestly don't know too much about it, should probably study up a bit :)
Hehe I live in Canada :) it's a happening place <3
The perfect picnic spot in Canada
Oh, these photos are stunning! You know about my recent trip to Lake Louise from my blog, and I am so lucky that my hometown is close enough to drive there. It is a magical spot in any season. I do hope you go!
Now, this is heaven to me!!!!

It truly is that beautiful there.... you really should go one day : )

I am Canadian :) And I was lucky enough to spend my University days in Calgary, which is an hour or so away from Lake Louise. I used to go hiking there all the time. It's just as stunning as these photos show it to be. The best thing is that there's a tiny wooden tea house at the top of a two Km hike up the glacier mountain!
It's on my must see list, and I live not too far, just one province over (BC). It really does look magical and the images are stunning!
Jill, my pleasure, lovely:)
Lou, camping there would be so romantic:)
yay, Tasia!!!
skedian, I am so smitten with this spot now. Breathtaking:)
Totally, Vanessa:)
Aww..that sounds so dreamy, Eliza:)
The best part about Lake Louise, there's a tea house at the top of the mountain. It was the BEST date my husband ever took me on!
I had the privilege of living in Lake Louise for 8 months, one of my favourite places on earth!! Make sure you visit Baker Creek Chalets (http://www.bakercreek.com/), amazing way to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life!!
