Darlings, how do you commute? Do you drive, take the subway, brace the city on foot or maybe cycle? Since Balazs and I don't drive, we mostly walk or bike. Sadly, over the winter my beloved bike-basket got stolen, so I'm on a hunt for a new one. I've been looking around and I have the hardest time deciding which one I fancy the most or if I should get one at all this time around.
They all seem perfect, especially this bike porter or this little basket. So, I'd love to ask your advice: do you have a basket? What kind? Or maybe they are not your thing? xo
P.S: Fancy more biking goodness? Remember icons and their bikes?
P.P.S: Also, the brilliant the invisible bicycle helmet and an awesome way to park your bike!

As for me, always thumbs up and I love the second one you chose. They are really handy. Cheers, Grace
I would love to bike everywhere. Actually, I think I will have to make biking my transportation of choice once the snow melts. I love all of these bike baskets! xx. McKenna Lou

i wish i lived in a place that was more bike friendly for commuting. sorry to hear about your basket, hope you find a good one soon!
I do have a basket and I love it.
What a sad day to discover your basket stolen. :( downfall of living in the city and not parking your bike in the barn at night, lol
Hope you find a new one that suits your needs.

Ah, that Nantucket Basket is too cute! This makes me want to live in the heart of a city, and ride around town with flowers overflowing out of the basket!
Ooooo I just love this post! I get around my bicycle here in Copenhagen along with most others... I definitely recommend investing in a basket, as they are super handy.. Unless you get a metal one that is screwed on to avoid the greedy temptations of those little theves out there, I recommend the adorable whicker one you picked out, as long as its easy for you to take off to bring inside when you're not using it... great pics!
Definitely a thumbs up! Although I have always thought that people who can wear nice clothes while biking must live in rather flat places, because I always get all sweaty and gross when I bike the three miles to work!
Yay, Grace:)
Biking is so relaxing, Lou:)
Thanks, holtkamp :)
Amy, do you have a barn? That is so COOL!
Btw: Amy, I was so shocked that someone just stole the basket. Crazy!
I LOVE your comment, Justine:)
Awesome, tutusandtea Btw: I heard from a friend that Copenhagen is great for biking.
Adorable! If I rode I would totally have one.
Full of sunflowers.
I love riding my bicycle with its basket. It's so useful for chucking my handbag and any shopping into. I don't tend to use my bike much in the Winter, so I hope it's time to dust it off and get it out the shed now that it's March! I like the baskets you picked out, but the first one looks quite shallow that I'd be worried things would go flying out and the wicker isn't that practical in rain/ they tend to break. I use a black wire one which has lasted me years and I recommend it! oh dear..you read my mind. I can't wait to take my bike to the shop and buy a basket matching..love all of them!

Polly, such a good point and I totally agree about the 1st basket. It totally looks a bit too shallow. Thanks so much for the link to your basket. I am totally going to get it. You are the best. xo
Awesome, J:) xoxo
