With a whopping 100 degrees and my
mom visiting, it was the perfect weekend
to try out a new cocktail. After long walks in the heat,
this sparkler quickly
became our favourite treat to enjoy during breezy balcony evenings. It has
Italian prosecco (yum!), refreshing lavender, mint and lemon syrup that you
pre-simmer and it's topped off with a bit of cold club soda for the
bubbles-factor. (Full recipe
here).
Doesn’t it sound refreshing? Loves, what’s your favourite summer
cocktail/drink? xo
P.S: Missed you
last Friday:) So glad to be back to the regular schedule!
P.P.S: Two more posts are coming up today and if you fancy trying another fun
cocktail -
this one is awesome too.

It sounds really refreshing and like you, I love prosecco. Glad to have you back. Love, Amy
nothing like lemon - mint - lavender in a cocktail! what a summery, delicious combination! i'm all about the fruity drinks with pals once summer comes. here in barletta they serve mojitos with tons of fruit in them and it's practically a meal! haha! glad you're back!
Yummm sounds like you had a great time with her! Raspberry mojitos and sangria always have my heart in the summer time. Can't wait for some "deck drinking" weather :)

Thank you, girls! And Amy, isn't prosecco super delicious?
Oh boy, those mojitos sound soooo good, Marissa and I LOVE Sangria as well, Tasia!
It looks A. mazing, friend! I love flavored water.
Sounds refreshing!
It certainly does sound refreshing. We've been over 100 already here in Phoenix as well. I've been drinking mostly water with mint leaves and cucumbers or orange slices.
I did have some mango lemonade this weekend that was divine.
what could be better! i love anything with a little prosecco in it.
Chic on the Cheap

happy monday friend.
That sounds delicious and I will definitely be trying it this summer! I love making a "Dark and Stormy" when it gets hot (just rum/lime/ginger beer) because it is so refreshing!
that sounds wonderful. When my mom and i went to arizona a few years ago, we had lime water for the first time. now, she drinks it every afternoon! xoxo
Ummmm, I'll be trying this!
Water with mint leaves and cucumbers - delicious, Jeanette. I might make some right now. Thanks!

I love a good white wine sangria over ice - or vodka lemonade.
It totally does, HiLLjO :)
