Swoon, the super stylish 20's inspired drop-waist frocks are very on trend this spring according to Marie Claire. I love the sassy vibe they give out and since having watched Midnight in Paris, I'm dying to try the look with a pair of classic loafers and a bit red lipstick.
Darlings, would you give it a go? Fancy any of the dresses above? xo
P.S: Here are two beautiful 20's inspired weddings.

I love this look on others but me being so tall it doesn't quite work.
For one all the dress are too short so the drop waist isn't really hitting in the right place. LOL

i think this look is so romantic. but sadly, the drop waist is soooo unflatering for my body shape.
Love the flapper era look, and always wanted to be one for Halloween, but love that it can be worn as fashion today too...so lovely, and I am a big fan of dropped waists! :)
I agree with Elizabeth. a very romantic look.
The dropped waist is such a fun change of pace, I will definitely be picking up something for spring/summer in this vein.

SO pretty (especially the ombre!) but I'm with Elizabeth: my hips are so big that it makes my entire torso wider than my shoulders... NOT flattering on HiLLjO.
How are you, dear?!
i love the flapper vibe!
oo drop waist dresses are so pretty!!
I have too many curves to pull this off but adore seeing those lithe and lovelies who can.
Happy day!

I love this look! I need to get me a dress like this!
Gah, "Midnight In Paris" is such a good flick!
Elizabeth, spot on! It's such a romantic look, indeed:)
The ombre one is my favourite too, HiLLjO:) Btw: I'm good, thanks, sweetie. Super busy but good! How about you?
Christianna, so true! Midnight in Paris is awesome:)
I love almost all of your pictures! And the trend itself. So cute!
Such pretty outfits! :)
Waaait... was the 4th picture from the bottom taken at the Jazz Age Lawn Party on Governor's Island? That looks like the barracks in the background, my husband and I went to it last June! (Also, fun fact: The day we went to it, we found out our septuagenarian neighbor was stationed at Fort Jay on Governor's Island back in the day.)
Stephanie, yes it is from the Jazz Age Lawn Party on Governor's Island. Spot on and how interesting.
