Do you do yoga? I've done it before but somehow life got in the way of it. I remember enjoying it but feeling incredibly awkward at first when I couldn't really follow all the postures and movements. Then my friend said that the beauty of yoga is that your brain has to take a back seat and trust your body to guide it. I love that!
Those photographs are from a stunning Parisian yoga studio where Kia Naddermier is the teacher. Just looking at them makes me want to start yoga again. What’s your experience with yoga? Do you have a favourite type? How do you stay in shape? xo
P.S: Switch off.

Wow! These are truly stunning. I need that body first.
I am not a fan of yoga, I love pilates much better.
My body feels so much better and relaxed after pilates than I ever did at yoga. Maybe for the same feeling you have, couldn't do the poses or breathing correctly.

I would definitely love to take a yoga class in Paris! I don't know if I could do all the super-flexible moves but I do enjoy the easier versions of yoga!
I am much like you, I loved it when I went and made time for it but since moving to a different city 5 years ago I have never really bothered to look up a class. I keep saying that I will do it at home but never do...
I love the gym these days and weight training has changed my life for the better!

oh, dear .. now I feel bad, haha! haven't done any real exercise since..well.. for a long time! not sure Yoga would be the best fit, but I loved Jazz Dance back in the days! xo
I'm 100% addicted to hot yoga at Corepower. I thought yoga was boring before I started doing hot/flow yoga and now I can't get enough!
i'm guilty of letting yoga fall by the wayside. i haven't been in awhile, as you said, life got in the way! i guess it's a matter of making it a priority which i haven't done. gorgeous photos though.
these photos are stunning!
I'm a definite yoga advocate. I go through periods when I do it every day (and other periods when I'm lazy and fall out of habit)... but I always feel AMAZING whenever I do it.
xo
Oh I love yoga! but I haven't done it in so long...I usually do yoga during winter when I can't go outside to work out....

Jes, that sounds so good. I love when I feel totally refreshed after a workout. Totally need to try that type of yoga. Thanks!
Ana, doesn't she look amazing? And Amy, I am a fan of pilates as well.

I need to get back into yoga. I used to love hot-yoga because it really challenged my body. Those photos are beautiful. Cheers, Grace.
You read my blog, so you know how much yoga's been a part of my life. Well, I haven't done any since the move to Australia. And let me tell you, I am MISSING it. x
Wow, what lovely images. They really capture the beauty of yoga. I might have to pop into this studio when I'm over in Paris later this year. Thanks for sharing! x
I love yoga! I do it almost every day :)
I love yoga but I'm not one to join a class or go to the gym or anything, so I've been doing Mandy Ingber's yogalosophy program at home. It's perfect for me, and my husband joins in, and our 9 year old niece who lives with us loves it as well. Even during the busiest times last year when I was finishing up my PhD I would do it, even if it was only for 15 minutes in the middle of the night or 2 in the morning :)
Vanisha, I am so going to check out Mandy Ingber's yogalosophy program. It sounds amazing. Thanks!
I only just saw this post & just had to add a belated comment. I practice yoga & have for many years. I have taken classes in a different studio in Paris.( These photos are really beautiful by the way.) One of the things I love most about yoga is that you can travel anywhere & still do your practice. It really adds a lot to your travels When you can take a class in another city or country.
Sally, good point - it would be totally magical to try yoga in many different cities around the world, wouldn't it?
I love yoga and been practicing for years. Love your photos :)
Pevita :)
