For me maxi dresses (and skirts) during spring are as essential as cosy oversized sweaters and scarves during winter. Here is why: they're super comfy, unfussy, and they make me want to twirl every time I take a step. Plus the best part of all - they are perfect to wear for weekend picnics in the park when you know you'll eat way too much (giggle).
Darlings, are you into maxi dresses/skirts or not so much? Would you wear any of the above? (I’m completely and utterly in love with the first one). xo

I love maxis but have never been able to find my perfect one...the ones you've posted above are perfect! I must know where they come from!
Alas I have never found a maxi dress that just screamed me...I always look like I'm a lil pregnant in it too so I'm going to stick to my form fitting clothes. These maxi dresses are beautiful tho!!

Even though I'm short, I love a great maxi. I feel like a princess in them!

YES!!! Most definitely love the maxi! This year i am not finding any on the store racks where has the maxi dress gone. If i do find one it is either so expensive or its bad poly. I must find at least one to freshen up my wardrobe for summer.
Love the last look!
Amy
This is some gorgeous maxi styling! I just love the coral with the orange.
Chic on the Cheap
These are all so pretty! I love a good maxi dress. I'm not really a skirt fan!
Tish, I know that the last dress is from "Band of Outsiders" but it's out of stock right now.
Lemanie, my friend had the same problem with maxi dresses so she started wearing them with cute belts. It really works for her
Indeed, Nuha! And Amy, I went to zara last week and they had a few amazing maxi dresses. You should check it out.
i totally agree. and need to add some to my closet!
maxi, always! i have rocking this look for years and will conintue to after the fad fades! one would say that i do not sit super lady like and maxis always remedy this. i can look feminine but still drive with my foot on the dash. i sit indian style at work and in restaurant booths and i will be the first to sit on the floor to allow more sofa seeting for company ... and a maxi dress/skirt can make all these things possible and still manage to look cute, graceful and feminine.
Love this extra-long mood!!!! Really cool pants...xoxo from Rome

I used to really not like this look, but confess I really like the styling of some of these you posted...
This is just such a tough look to pull off when you are as short as I am. I think I would tend to look like a crazy old lady or something.
I will just have to admire from afar!
So well said, Elizabeth! - "cute, graceful and feminine" - indeed:)
I love them, but its hard to find any that fit me because I'm barely 5'2.
I have worn maxi dresses since I can remember. Mysterious they leave something to the imagination.
Ive never been a huge maxi fan but my fella got me this slate grey number from anthro and I have a feeling I will be LIVING in it soon.
definitely to maxi! i love the trend even though i'm very short... <3

I adore maxis! Especially the 5th one
I love maxis. Unfortunately, they make me look pregnant.
I love maxi dresses and am so excited I can start wearing them again!! Love the pleated kind, too, but I worry that sitting constantly will eventually flatten the pleats?
To maxi of course. I own two and they so versatile. I love numbers 3 4 and 7.
