When it comes to stripes vs polka dots, it’s impossible to choose sides. Well, they both are super sassy and fun to wear. Stripes can be a bit more edgy while polka dots are more ladylike. The good part is that this season it's all about mixing patterns, so you don’t have to pick just one. Now it's the time to mix them all up!
The look can be tricky and a bit overwhelming but according to Red Mag if you stay away from accessories and add one structure piece - a blazer, pullover or shirt – it will pull the outfit together and make it look grown up.

I love the look! I don't know if I trust my judgement enough, as to whether or not it looked good, to wear stripes and polka dots together...we'll see!

I am a total polka dot person. My husband loves to wear stripes. So maybe our children will be a mix of the two? haha!
i am always a sucker for some dots.
I have tried it and it really works when it is planned right.
I do have to say that the first look here looks a bit 4th of july but all the others look amazing!

this is a trend I can get on board with. I love the last two images!
Some of those outfits are really sweet, particularly the mustard combo (last one), the red & pink striped jacket with the polka dot and flower shirt and the chic blue trench with beige stripes/polka dress.
Fashion should be fun, and those out fits hit the mark.

I have more stripes in my wardrobe, but I love both! You can definitely mix them as long as there is a common element (general size, colors,whathaveyou) so I say go for both! :)
I´m a bit on both teams...lately I add more dots, so my wardrove is now on balance...Looking at those gorgeous pictures I think is time to try some mixing...
