Red lipstick and red nail polish go hand-in-hand when it comes to sassiness and seems to be always in style. Goodness me, there is nothing snazzier than short red nails and a beautiful shade of red lipstick, don’t you think? Both make me feel totally classy but I'm the first one to admit that I rarely wear them together which is a shame because even a simple pair of jeans with a cute top or an oversized sweater would look super pretty with a pairing like that.

I LOVE them on others, but have never ever tried them myself. I have a party to go to in 2 weeks though, and a fabulous new black dress for it, so I think I'll give it a try! :) Thanks for the inspiration!

Definitely a thumbs up. I don't wear the combo, but I think the right red can really complement your skin and nails + lips together class up a simple look. Like the pictures, too :)

Always a thumbs up! I love this combo. I've never been able to pull of red nails of that color (just doesn't go with my skin tone on my hands) but I do love me some red lipstick. I love it when women can pair the two together. :)
I do love a spot of red at the nails and lips, but not daily;-)

I am so with ya on the short red nails. I love a cherry on top from sephora. But i cant pull off a red lip. My nautral lip color is very berry looking. So red just does not go with my natural coloring. So i usually just wear chapstick :)

i love the red lip trend. but i swear every time i try to buy a red lipstick, it somehow looks too orange to me. i fail at the red look.
it's funny cause on some people it can look a bit kitschy, but it looks absolutely fabulous in all of these photos. Overall, thumbs up!

I simply love red lips and red nails on others, but on myself...not so much. Every time I try dark nail polish on me I don't like it and red lips on me make me look like a clown! LOL! I don't know why this is...hehe...it looks fantastic on others! So, for me a thumbs down either worn separate or together, but on others, I say thumbs up! :)
