You know what's the word on the street, right? Everyone says that stripes are the official bloggers uniform - it seems to be true, at least in my closet. The thing is that about 95% of my clothes have the classic Breton sailing style pattern (it's not all bad considering those awesome people wore them too, right?). Anyway, I've decided that it's time to give a colour-lift to my stripes and add a few new green (total bargain), red (less expensive version), orange and maybe even pink pieces into the mix. My navy & white striped tunic from H&M is in constant wardrobe rotation with some skinny jeans & boots...it's my go to "oops I ate too many christmas cookies" outfit! :)

My uniform lately has been:
1 thing I made
1 rock n' roll style thing
1 hippy style thing
and then fill in the blanks. I love henley shirts, though. I can usually be found in one. Maybe I should make red lipstick, a henley and pretty panties my uniform for when I blog as a Stay at Home Mom...

I realize the striped section of my closet is growing and growing :) I admit I'm not venturing outside black and white...but this color is definitely inspiring me!

I hadn't heard that bloggers have a 'uniform' before! But now that I think of it... it's kinda true! My wardrobe has many striped garments... AND I'm wearing my fav in my blogger profile pic! HAHA!
