Balazs and I are planning a little movie-marathon with a few friends over the Holidays. We all agreed to make a list of movies we are dying to see and then we’ll pick a few that everyone is excited to watch. So far I have two:
One Day with
Anne Hathaway and
The Descendants with
George Clooney but I need to add a few more to the mix.
So, darlings, I’d love to know what movies do you like to watch? It can be a film that you are dying to see on dvd or in the cinema or a classic that you can't stop re-watching? xo

I love those photos you chose for the post and I would recommend one of my all time fave movies, Love Actually. Grace xo
I love any comedy/suspense thriller from the 1930s,1940s,50's and some early 1960's
Black and white is my fav and I can watch anything with cary grant over and over again.

A movie marathon is a great idea! Some classics I'd recommend: Breathless, Manhattan, and, in the suspense-thriller category, Vertigo. Have fun! xo.
p.s. I, too, have been craving some alone-time with my husband and am hoping for a date night in our near future!
my all time favorite movie is A Walk to Remember and Titanic. I can literally watch them over and over and over and I'll never ever get sick of it. Everytime I tell people that I watch Titanic all the time, they always give me this crazy look.
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

"Almost Famous"! It's my very favorite movie of all time and I watch it a few times a year! The opening scene also has Christmas music playing, so it kinda goes with holiday watching!
I like watching American President with Michael Douglas. It's just a fun movie with content that makes you think.
i could watch 'sense and sensibility' anyday :) lately h and i have taken a break from our documentaries for lighter family films (weird i know) but we laughed A LOT to 'cloudy with a chance of meatballs' :) have a fantastic movie marathon chickadee! xo

Hi Diana,
Every Christmas I love to watch Gone With The Wind. I love The Sound of Music; A Christmas Story - you know the one with the kid and b.b. gun - you'll shoot your eye? Those are all fun classics.
Merry Christmas!

"Ides of March" is amazing. My cousins and I watch the BBC version of "Pride and Prejudice" every year. And at Christmas, we always watch "Love Actually" and "The Holiday".
We are starting to watch more DVD's now. It was harder when Maximus was a tiny baby.
I love all sorts of movies. One of my all time favorites is Return to Me.
Happy week to you!

Nicole, aren't date-nights the best?
LOL, Tish! Ohh that video is so funny...If it's a sad movie, I'm going to cry as well. YYou are awesome, girl. xo
We LOVED Mindnight in Paris, Irena. I'm such a fan of woody allen.
have you seen city of lost children? it's my fav ;)

I will watch Labyrinth over and over and over again. And I can't count how many times I've seen Charade. And my husband and I (and a bunch of our friends) have seen MST3K: The Movie so many times we don't really need to watch it anymore, we just spontaneously start reciting the commentary from it. ;-)
I'm doing the same... i watched Shame yesterday {not very festive} and Sherlock Holmes because i looove RDJ!!!
I have not, Sage! I'm going to check it out. Thanks! And Stephanie, that is soooo cool! You guys are great:)
