I find vintage photographs marvelous and full of untold stories. An Italian man shot a series of pictures in
Bologna, Italy, that he called
Passanti. Unlike other "then and now" projects,
Giuseppe brilliantly directed his attention towards the people in the photographs rather than the buildings. After looking at those spot on matches, I’d love to dig out a bunch of old family pictures and embark on a discovery project myself. Lovelies, aren’t they genius? xo
P.S: Remember
Jason's "then and now" project?

Love these...what a great idea! xxx
This is a gorgeous idea. Mum and I have a similar one going with a coat we both wore in trafalger Square, in different decades. I just have to print and frame them now.
Love your blog lots.

Absolutely genius. I think they are adorable and somehow makes you connect better with the past...:)
Oh my goodness, that is so fantastic, Amber. You totally should print them out and frame them.
Thanks for letting me know, Belly. So cool! I'm going to check them out right now:)

Kristin, totally agree!
I love this idea! It's so romantic, no?
Those are incredible. Now I want to get out old photos too!
I LOVE vintage photos.. Wish I had more from my family. It reminds me that I need to take lots of photos now so that my grand children and great nieces and nephews have something vintage-ish from this time period. Hard to be grasp it since we are so modern ;)
Yes, so fun! Last year, on a trip to England, we gook photographs with us that I shot when I was a child. We went to the old neighborhood where my Nana had lived and compared the then to now. Was really fun. People were watching us through their curtains :)
These are always fun photos. I think that they would be a great idea to do for a couples 50th anniversary showing the progression of their life together.
Brilliant, Lovely and Creative! Love it!
Totally, Sara and Lisa, that is a brilliant reminder! I also need to start taking more photos. Thanks.

My parents have vintage photos and they grew up in the neighborhood I lived in. Its so amazing to see how different it used to look and where there were no buildings where there are now and parks and playgrounds where there were buildings!
That's so cool, Katie and Di!
really cool!
I especially love the one on the lake. Such a great series.
Love, Amy
