The word on the street is that retro flares promise to keep you style-savvy is autumn. According to Elle UK magazine, they are the most wearable and very figure-flattering type of jeans that will make you feel oh-so snazzy all season long. They look awesome with buttoned-up shirts, sleek blazers and cozy short sweaters. I recently got myself a lowrise pair that makes my legs look a mile long. Love! Darlings, are you feeling the 70s vibe? xo
P.S: Garance's take on flares.
P.P.S: Other awesome trends: polka dots and cute tights.

I love a good flare and all of these look amazing, but for some reason I am not in the mood to sport them this season. Of course, when I feel like a straight leg all I can find is a flare. LOL
Amy
i adore flares - and i love all of these looks!
i'm loving the 70s vibe!
I love flair jeans, but I don't like to wear them in the winter. It's way too wet where I live and there is nothing worse that wet jeans that you end up walking on and tearing. Usually in the winter I spot straight leg so that I can fit them in my boots.
Yep, totally flattering! I love 'em! xo.
I was really into this look about 12 years ago....and I could get back into it. I love how so many styles come back :)
Thumbs up!
Hahah..Amy, it's always like that, isn't it? And Samantha, that is a good point! Wet jeans are not great.
Me too, Gina. I love that so many old trends are totally IN right now.
I love these looks but I feel like you can't have an ounce of body fat or hips in order to pull it off. Thoughts?
I love most of these - photos 1, 2, 5 and 6 get a thumbs up from me. Not a big fan of photos 3 and 4 though.
I still have a pair of dark wash denim flares I bought for $3 ($3!!!!!) on a clearance rack at the Bon Ton about 6 years ago, I always get a ton of compliments on them. Sadly, the hems are starting to get a bit ragged, but I'm hoping to get another couple of years out of them before they start looking to sloppy. ;-)
Thumbs way UP!
I love the look, but honestly...I'm a little short to really pull them off. Sigh...
i love all these looks!
I agree with Samantha up there. Love em but too wet for Winter and I usually go for the skinnies that tuck in the boots.
thumbs up!
two thumbs up!!!
I like them but I think they look better on certain people. Depends on how curvy you are. I think I look better in straight leg as I have a bigger bottom, but some flares look better too. It all depends. I just made no sense. haha!
I'm all about this trend! Nothing wrong with a little hippie style!
Thumbs up, thumbs up, thumbs up! A million times thumbs up!
I love 70s flare. I agree with Amy... I want to rock straight leg still. But I have a few nice big trouser bells for my work clothing.
Flares are awesome! I think they make everyone look a little taller and skinnier.

Thumbs up! I loooove flares. Bring it :)
Straight leg is my always go to style. Flare legs looks great on some people, but not me. I like less fuss when it comes to clothes and style. Flare leg seems like more fuss because of getting them wet in winter and rain. I also don't care the the swoosh sound sometimes made when walking in flared jeans. Anyone else get that?
Tish, I think that with the right fit even the curvier girls can pull those pants off.
Stephanie, $3? That is amazing! Keep them safe:) And Behold the Metatron, I totally get what you mean.
