I've always wondered why my French bun isn't as full as on the top photo. I have pretty thick hair but something didn't quite work. So you can imagine my excitement when Liz did a post on how to do a perfect bun using a sock. I kid you not! I tested it this morning and it works! I feel like a French girl sporting my oh-la-la sock bun. Darlings, will you try it? Have you already? xo

Oh wow this takes me back to high school! I performed in a latin dance back in the day and our choregrapher told us this trick, works like a charm!

Sorry if this is already in the comments above, but it works better if you bring the sock to the end of your hair and roll it outwards, bringing your hair around it towards the head.
Omg I just tried it and now im doing it for high school tomorrow! Lol
