Last year Montréal's Quartier des spectacles had a fantastic idea of creating an eye catching 500 balloons installation as part of a public poll. They wanted to involve the community in the creative process where each person was asked to share their dreams of what they'd like to do with the space. They simply had to write down what they would like to see, do, or who they would like to meet in this area.
A brilliant way to get people involved and a wonderful way to bring them all together, don't you think? Maybe it's just me, but I could move to Montréal right now! (Btw: it would totally make my day to ride my bike next to a field of huge balloons every morning) xo

What a super cool idea. I wish they'd do that in socal, but I fear most of the hopes and dreams would be for plastic surgery centers. Ugh.

LOVE this! I love balloons in general, though. I love balloon photos. I love balloons at birthday parties. I love when people incorporate balloons into art projects. I guess I am crazy for balloons! haha.
