Lately the weather is playing tricks on us (how is it at your end?). Each day starts off with a beautiful sunshine and gradually gets cooler and rainier. So last night we had enough of it all and I made a pot of spicy chai tea after yet another cardigan-wearing day. A few of our friends came over and we spent the evening sipping and catching up on Curb Your Enthusiasm. It's hilariously-cringy, have you seen it? Btw: Sara's recipe is my favourite! I just use soy milk instead of the regular milk. Also, for those who are at luck with the weather: you can totally drink it cold as well, just chill the pitcher for a few hours before drinking. It's delicious:). Darlings, do you drink tea? What's your favourite? xo

Hot chai tea. Yum. I also like sleepy time tea, just before going to bed.
where do you live Diana that it's cold now? Australia? We are having a heat wave in the US right now that's about to kill us all lol. I wish I could be wearing cardis and sipping chai :)
love chai tea :)
yum!
People back home cannot start their day with tea ... summer or winters. Though I am not a tea person at all. Just love coffee! :) Also, shared this on twitter as well but Tea in Hindi is called Chai. Don't know why Starbucks calls it Chai Tea and not everyone in the world calls it that! Thought will let you know. I hope you don't mind! :o) Have a beautiful day!

Thanks for letting me know, Tanvi. I'm always so interested in different cultures. I think the word chai exists in Russian as my grandpa uses it as well.

I used to make iced chai tea and drink it like nobody's business. I need to get in the kitchen, this will be my breakfast :) thanks, darling!

Being half-British, I am obsessed with tea. I drink it constantly. Since moving to Colombia, tea is hard to find but my lovely London friends sent me huge packs of it to last me ages so now I'm happy again. My usual is standard English Breakfast with a splash of milk and one sugar. Buut I love a good Moroccan mint after a meal or if I want to relax - jasmine or camomile is great. Another favorite is bizarre but delicious - popcorn tea or lemongrass tea, both from TeaPigs.
I LOVE chai tea! I even got my husband to start liking it!
It's still warm in my neck of the woods, but this post just got me craving a cup of chai!

Steph, I love the standard English Breakfast as well. My mom always brings a huge bag of it whenever she visits!Teapigs is a fantastic brand and I totally need to try some Moroccan mint. That sounds so good:)
this is one of my favorite drinks :)
Oh, chai tea always makes me think of this one time, where me and friends made some while listening, rapping and dancing to Kanye West! I know there is a vid somewhere, I need to find it :)
I loooove chai, it's definitely my favorite! I ran out of coffee this week, so chai has been my hot, caffeinated beverage of choice the past few days. :-)
I love tea! These pictures make me want to curl up with a hot cup of tea!

I'm a mint tea girl. It's so refreshing and great for an upset tummy! :) Although, I DO love chai. How could you not love chai?

Caroline, thanks for the tip about mint tea:) I didn't know that.
Christianna, sounds like such a fun memories:)
Chai is delicious, I love that mix of spices in just about everything (supper, dessert, tea). Thanks for the recipe tip, I'd love to try making my own. If you can't make it from scracth though, a decent concetrate is this one: http://www.rishi-tea.com/chaiwithroots/
And it supports Jane Goodall's Roots & Shoots program which is a bonus.
Oh my goodness, Christine, that tea sounds magical! Thank you for the link:) Totally going to try it.
Here too darling, it was so sunny now it seems like its going to storm, wtf?? I've been craving some Chai tea, maybe it will make me happier..xo
