Lately I'm more and more convinced that I should've been born into an Italian family as I could totally live on Italian food and nothing else. This baked ricotta cheese with tomato and olives for example that I spotted on Heidi's blog is one of my favourite summer dishes! We had a group of friends over for dinner last weekend and we all loved it. You know your dish is popular when the plates are empty and people have to loosen their pants! The recipe is ridiculously easy and this mixture of cheese and fresh veggies makes you feel light on your tummy but completely satisfied! What's your favourite Italian recipe? xo

Oh, we are on the same wave length, because I could totally live on Italian food alone! I just made the most decadent thing I've cooked in ages last night--lemon fettucini to celebrate my lemon trees giving me so much fruit. It was heavenly but so heavy--your recipe looks much more healthy!

Looks so yummy! I'll have to try this out. I love tomato and ricotta or mozzarella. I married into an Italian family, and they do love to cook -- which is a plus for me when we visit!

That looks so yummy. I'll have to give it a try!
P.S. You should try this one too. a few heads of garlic with the top cut off, put in a pyrex baking dish with a little chicken stock, sprinkle with sundried tomatoes and feta and bake until garlic is soft. Squeeze garlic out onto rounds of bread with a little feta and tomato, and soak up the juice with your bread. SO GOOD!
Italien food is one of my absolutely favorite!!!!
YUMMIE :D
That looks delicious! I haven't enjoyed pizza since I was in Naples... it was so amazing, nothing can compare!!

o-m-g this looks delicious! One of my favorite Italian recipes (there are many) is a simple shrimp, basil, tomatoes and pasta tossed with some garlic, olive oil and cracked pepper.
Now I'm hungry!

sounds yummy! I am a BIG fan of Italian food, but I don't like olives, I would so eat up the tomatoes and cheese by itself though!
