It's over three years since Balazs and I moved into our current flat and we still don't own a coat stand or wall hooks. So, I'm thinking about making a mismatched hook wall with all different hooks like the one above. Totally digging that cute duck! Dears, what do you think? Where do you hang your coats and umbrellas in your home?

Marissa, so true! In the entrance part of our flat we have a little chilling area with armchairs and that is where we usually put our coats right now. I really want to change that.

i like the idea of a random hook wall! we just put our coats in the coat closet....not very exciting. random hooks would be much prettier :)
Oh I just love that look! You should definitely do it! I have a hall closet that I keep it all in but I could definitely use some more options :)

This is such a cute idea. You should totally do it. I used to have a coat tree but we were putting so many coats and jackets on it that it broke. Now I have wall hooks from CB2 and I love them.

i just did something like this in my closet for my bags. however, this is much cuter!
I have a coat closet, so hanging coats isn't a problem. But I'm FOREVER losing my key and it would be nice to have a place to hang my dog's leash where it is readily available, instead of digging around in the coat closet for it. Mind you, I've been wanted to hang hooks near the front door for well over a year now - such a simple thing and it still hasn't happened!

Love this idea! We're renting an apartment that has a closed off entry way with enough space for a giant coat rack/shoe cabinet but we're moving soon to a place with no entry way so I need to get creative with coat storage!

well here in the desert we don't need umbrellas or coats but I do need hooks. LOL
We have them all over hanging art,bags,and best of all as art themselves. I love antique and vintage ones just hanging in a collage way without a thing on them.
So I really love this idea of the mix and match hook wall!

These are great. My coat rack is propped against the wall where it serves no purpose. I really need to put it up.
