Home in IKEA

Yahoo! Aren't those photographs hilarious? Photographer Christian Gideon and a few of his close friends had this brilliant idea of shooting a series of photos where for a day they pretended to live in IKEA's showrooms. I have to admit that secretly I wish I could join in the fun! (is it just me?) Sweets, aren't those funny? xo

Update: After reading this post Irena went to her local Ikea and recreated the same concept! Brilliant! Check it out:)

How to do fishtail braids

Seems that braids are timeless! I remember sporting them all the time as a little girl and last night I gasped when I saw this cool fishtail braid tutorial! The directions are quite straight forward and with a little practice I hope I can get the hang of it. (I'm terrible with my hair). I can totally picture wearing those perfectly messy braids, red lipstick and a floral sun dress:). Sweets, would you go for this look? What's your favourite type of braids? (For me it's between fishtail braids and crown braids). xox

P.S: The rainbow braid tutorial is fantastic as well! Check it out.
P.P.S: Stay tuned for GIVEAWAY Thursday...(something perfect for Mother's Day!)

Fashion Trend: Fedora Hat

My love affair with hats continues with Fedora! They are beautiful and seems that they can transform anyone into a confident Parisian at heart! (Fun fact: The Fedora hat is apparently named after a woman in a French play called, "Fédora" written by Victorien Sardou in 1882). Aren't they beautiful? Darlings, any of you got a great hat recently? I think, I'm ready to try wearing one myself. So, what do you reckon? xo

P.S: Happy Earth Day!
