I think it's fair to say by now that I'm obsessed with the dramatic beauty of Iceland. For some reason I find myself researching this amazing place over and over again. I can totally imagine myself spending a week in one of those little cites. A warm coat, good camera and hot wine, what else could I want, right? Also, on another note: New York, I Love You movie was really interesting. Each of the little stories was so captivating and now I can't wait to see Paris Je T'aime. Thanks for recommending it to me. xoxo

I can't remember if I mentioned that my son has been obsessed with Iceland for years. Evidently a lot to offer including nature as your beautiful photos show!!
Some of my friends went there and they absolutely loved it. I'd love to experience the thermal swimming pools :)
Iceland must be beautiful, I have seen so many nice pictures and heard amazing stories!! And it is kind of cheap too at the moment, so lets go!

the hubs and i CAN'T decide on a summer get-a-way. we have researched iceland over and over. the only thing holding us back is that it will be cold!!!! stupid reason not to go i guess huh?

i would loove to go there. these pics are amazing.. it's not that far of a flight from Boston. My friend went to visit her friend's family for a long weekend.
I have a friend who's an Icelandic pop star (we studied theatre together in Paris). The photos of her hometown on facebook are stunning! And it seems like such a cool community. I've always wanted to go!

What seems so remarkable about Iceland to me is that the land is so--virgin--as in, untouched by human development. It's easy to visualize our ancient ancestors living in that gorgeous environment.
