My friend Sofia has three kiddos and she displays all their kindergarten art weekly around their flat. They have a system that each Friday they rotate the display and add new pieces. Their home looks so warm and each time I go over the kids take me on a tour around to show off their newest pieces! (and there is a story to each drawing). Aren't those art displays endearing? I would love the see the framed little drawings up close. Loves, do you display your kids' art in your house or are you planning to one day? xoxo

ah! i saw this somewhere else today too and i saved in my "home" folder for future inspiration! must, must do something like this when i have children :) lovely post :) xoox jcd
I need to do something like that. I know my kids would love it.
love displaying art in our home. I actually have 3 big canvases that I painted in bright colors...I then let my daughter use paint, sponges, brushes etc..to paint her master pieces! I love those canvases and cherish them. thecoolkidsblog.com
Also check out modernparentsmessykids.com she has some great ideas!
aw this is such a cute way to display children's work. it doesn't look clutter - it looks like artwork in itself!
I framed my kids art work in the white matted Pottery Barn frames but I love the string idea. It's so much easier to switch the pieces out. Thanks for the inspiration! xoxo
That first picture is simply adorable!!
What a great way to fill up a large space...way more fun than just putting them on the fridge. I'll have to tuck this away for the future when I have kids.
So adorable! What a great way to have fresh art and colour all the time!
i love the second picture, it looks so kid friendly and grown up at the same time - perfect!

Love this idea = so charming. Of course you need the right spot but I'll bet those kids are so proud to see their art displayed for all to see!
a wonderful way to encourage creativity! i will definitely do this one day, but not yet :)
What a great idea - I love the first one!
oh yes, we have are little one's art up and it makes me so happy to see it everyday.

Kids art is the best .... I have framed so many from when mine were young, I love when they start painting people, one of my favorites is my sons self portrait from kindergarten ... priceless !!!
I love the frame idea. What a great way to ensure that some of those little pieces of art are kept. I would definitely do this if I had a wee one!
The way they dress the kids art is so nice! It must makes the kids feel special. I do plan to show my kids art around the home whenever I have any.
What a great idea and yes, I use to hang our kids artwork, too. We use to get those plastic frames that have magnets to attach to the fridge and I'd swap them out but I love the hanging detail used here! So sweet! xoxo bEth
These are both such great ways to display art work. I'm sure when you have kids, you want to put every single piece :) I loveeee the stacked ring in the previous post. New inspiration for me! So bookmarking that!
I'm saving this on my desktop for future inspiration!!! the two paintings Beli has painted so far I have framed and are hanging on our wall, but I'm sure once she begins going to preschool, the art projects will be endless!
sniff, sniff... makes me wish my boys were little again!
These are great ideas.
Have a pretty day!

yes! I just had framed a drawing my 4 year old niece drew for me!
It looks really cool..I want to frame more and make a gallery.
I really love this. We always use the old fridge method for displaying kids art, but this looks so much more stylish!!

Absolutely love the first image. It's brilliant! Such a great find...

I started putting both of my girls work up as soon as they learned how to hold a crayon. At one point their art covered my kitchen walls. Now, I have several pieces framed and hung around the house. I save everything they create (proud momma).
Soooo cute! When we have kids I'm totally encouraging creativity, and will do this:-)
oooh tomorrow's Friday, happy almost weekend hun!
Oh I LOVE this idea! So gorgeous! :)

I love the idea of framing kids' art -- it's so whimsical and makes them feel super special.

I don't have kids, but I do have nephew's and I already display their artwork! So I'm assuming once those kiddos arrive, my walls will be plastered with their little masterpieces!

I fully plan to display my kids artwork and I love the way it is in the pic!
We put Mimi's drawings everywhere in the house and she's so proud to show them to the friends who come to see us!
these are lovely!! I also think of dispeying Mia's work in some great way so this would be inspiration :)
Thank you for taking part in AppleTea contest! It was really important for me and this meant the world!

You are always welcome on a Apple Tea: http://theappletea.blogspot.com/
Happy happy day for you!
Kisses!
I will definitely be doing that!
This is such a lovely idea.
I have a similar plan to display photos on pegs- cos there are no kids around my apartment!
Aww..Mandy, I bet!!! So sweet:)
i use to put up my kids artwork on our kitchen wall when they were little's...those were the days!
We don't have kids yet, but my husband is a substitute teacher and the kids in the younger grades draw him pictures, so we hang some of them on our fridge, along with our dog's diploma from obedience school. ;-)
I do love the idea of having a dedicated "art gallery" area when we do have kids though!
That's such a good idea because I know we're going to have art EVERYWHERE! ha I love the second picture :)
So cute, very inspirational indeed. xo
