Balazs and I love living in our downtown flat but I lately find myself daydreaming about having a little outside green space (besides our balcony) that we could use for summer dinner parties or evenings with a glass of wine. Not to mention that our dogs would totally love having a bit of a round-about too. This green little piece of heaven belongs to Lena and just looking at it makes me wanna grab a book, a blanket and spend the whole day sitting on that white chair! Dears, do you own a little yard or a garden? (if you don't, no worry, here are four ways to still enjoy dinner outside) Brilliant! xoxo
P.S: dreamiest back yards ever!

a balcony and a small garden are a DREAM
That was one of our reasons moving out from the capital. Now we have a garden with all the jobs around :) and my favourite spot is the swingbed where I could spend hours in Summer afternoons...
I would love to live in a cute townhouse with a petite garden where I can grow some vegetables and flowers...
Have a lovely Monday, xxx
I love porch sittin'. Austin and I throw a baby pool out side and put our feet in it when it gets hot. It's so nice.
Happy Monday!

I know how you feel, Living in Manhattan made me always miss having an outdoor space. That is one of the great things about living in London! You live central but you can have a small house and a backyard. Luckily for us the place we are renting has a gorgeous zen spot in the back... so I cant wait for gorgeous spring days... and wine outside!!!
Yes I do and I am very grateful for it. We lost so many of our plants to freeze this winter so it's looking a little worse for wear right now.
We have a small but very nice backyard and probably half of it is a vegatable garden- totally awesome in the summer!
Totally agree with you. This is what I'm trying to do at the moment with my boyfriends backyard. The potential is there- it's just going to take a lot of TLC and elbow grease.
i have it both ways - a huge garden and backyard in rural new england over the summers, and my balcony terrace in the city in italy for the rest of the year! we just put a lot of plants out there to make it feel like a yard :-)
LOVE lush backyards - my Dad turned his backyard into a HUGE garden and fruit tree's - i have a small garden in mine .. woulnd't have it any other way ..
I love a pretty backyard, my parent's backyard i just gorgeous and my dad is really meticulous with it, it's always so nice on a gorgeous day!
a garden big or small... always welcome :)
but my dream would be a fairy english backyard with a cute swing for the kids
Living in Chicago is a little less urban and we have an outdoor space which I adore...especially after years in a highrise. And for summer dinners it is great, but you can always recreate the "feeling" with good friends and good wine!
Wow you could just spend hours there. It is so pretty. Looking at these pictures really makes me want Spring to already be here!!
i do have a nice little backyard, too bad its so cold out that I cant enjoy it
Brittany and Zsuzsa, that sounds fantastic:)
Me too, Kristina and it must look amazing, Rali:)

I would love and sit in a secret garden with paths that lead to hidden treasures. SIGH

I look forward to the day I have my own house and a quaint backyard! So lovely!
Liesl :)
I think yards are key, especially with the poochies, this one is lovely. xoxo
I highly suggest starting out with pots before you go to a yard. I never did the balcony and pots and am so overwhelmed with the size of my yard.
That doxie is too cute!
Oh gosh--we would love a garden. Right now we live in the very populated suburbs of baltimore and sadly, no yard. We do have a deck which I have plans for this Spring! :)
