Annie owns a Eagle Street rooftop veggie farm in Brooklyn. She grows only organic products and if you live in New York City you can even buy some of her goodness from April when the farm re-opens. Brilliant! Dears, how do you feel about organic products? Do you eat them? xoxo
P.S: Isn't Annie adorable? I love her red dress!
P.P.S: More photos here.

That makes my heart go pitter-pat! So awesome. Yes, we buy mostly organic and free range products. We also try to buy as locally as possible. Once I had a little one, my perspective on eating really changed.
Have a great weekend!

I love the idea of a rooftop garden. I studied (and majored in) ornamental horticulture in college so i know a little about sustainable and organic gardening and am a fan of both.
Eating organically is not only better for the environment--but also for your metabolism. I always try to select organic products over normally grown when possible.
GREAT post, Diana.
I also saw it on a Selby blog... think it's amazing!!! :)

eating organic can be expensive. because of this, husband and i arent really drawn to the organic section of the grocery store unless we find a good deal.
i too love her red dress!
This is fabulous and quite inspiring to see how people can manifest their dreams no matter where they are, she's a farmer in Brooklyn - LOVT THAT. Yes, we do organic but are striving to do more this year.
yes please!!!
Oh, this makes me want to start growing more of my own food this year! But I do buy organic as much as possible. It's fairly inexpensive to do so at my local farmers market, which is where I buy most of my produce from May - October.
She is adorable.
I am not a fanatic about organic, but try to buy that way with fruits and veggies that have "soft" skin where the pesticides and chemicals would come thru...like pears, apples and so on. Bananas with really thick skin are OK either way, in my opinion.
Always buy organic milk tho for the baby!

Caroline, totally agree! Since we started to eat more organic we feel so much better.
Isnt that fantastic, Jeanette? This makes me dream of a little balcony-garden:)
what a brilliant idea! i love her red dress. i never look that cute when gardening :)
awesome....i try to eat organic as much as possible...i would love to grow my own veggies!
Every time I'm in NYC I love going up to the top floor of a building because you NEVER know what your going to find and then you look down at what other people have done. This lil farm is soo cute!!! Lucky her! =)

That incredible!
What a fabulous concept and business - love her little city farm! We eat some organic but not all - definitely the things we eat every day - milk, eggs etc.
I can't get over how pretty she looks while digging in the dirt!
oh my gosh, she's adorbs!
How cool! We do eat some things organic, but I wish we could do more. We have a great farmers market near us that we like to go to.
Hope you have a lovely weekend sweetie.

Wow, what an admirable pursuit! The pictures of her farm are lovely.
Love that second photo.
How cool, what a unique project!
I make a point of eating organic whenever I can. And my meat is ALWAYS organic/free range. It's a little more expensive, but it's my body, after all! xx
Totally agree, Eliza. We also buy all organic meat.
