Balazs and I have a little tradition that every year, on the night of December 5th we host a pancake party in celebration of St. Nicholas' birthday. As a child, Balazs' family used to celebrate it so we just adapted it to our life together. We invite a group of friends, eat pancakes, drink hot chocolate or eggnog and listen to Christmas music! So, this year I am planning to get some of those cozy mittens for the party. Aren't they adorable? xoxo
Ps: Here is some more info about St. Nicholas day, if you are interested :)

Yeah, we celebrate St. Nicolas!! My sisters and I always had to clean our boots in the evening of Dec 5th and then put them at the window. When we woke up next day the boots were full of sweets and fruits and nuts :D
God I love to think back to those days :))

This is the best idea I've ever heard. THE BEST. My family celebrates St. Nicholas Day as well; my mom sends things to college for my roommate to fill my shoes!
