I LOVE sailing. It's an amazing experience!!
My husband took me on a romantic sailing adventure around the great barrier reef. And then he threw up for the ENTIRE 3 day trip. Sailing is no longer my friend.
Loved hitting the boat when I lived in the Pacific Northwest. There's really nothing like it!!

I keep seeing posts on Maine vacations, and how wonderful they are. I think that might have to be a summer trip in my future. I'm going to keep sailing on the mind today, while I work.

LOVE boating (as you know) but I have never been to Maine- we always talk about going there in October but never actually GO!
I love the ocean and a day sailing would be spot on for a nice holiday....maybe this winter in the Carib or something.....

J'adore! We were on a boat in the south of France and it felt wonderful - the sun, the breeze, the occasional splashes!

i am day dreaming of my trip to rhode island over the summer and all the sailing we did... love it!
Oh my goodness--don't tempt me, Diana! One of mine and Erika's lifelong dreams is to sail along the coast of Maine. And, if we can get a sailboat before going to Maine we we would be happy to sail on our grandma's lake.
I have been sailing once before--but when I was very young. It was magical! I hope to do it again soon, it seems so blissful.

Ton commentaire me fait penser à cette grande course à la voile LA ROUTE DU RHUM, qui rassemble plus de 80 skippers. Ils s'affrontent sur des trimarans géants ou sur des monocoques. 3femmes ont pris le départ de cette course mythique entre Saint-Malo(France) et Point- à Pitre(Martinique). 2millions de personnes seront passées par ce port de départ, la semaine dernière, pour saluer les compétiteurs. Je ne sais pas si tu avais entendu parler de cette course qui existe depuis 1979.
