Confession: when it comes to bread, you will never see me throwing out a stale loaf. It might be because of my upbringing or just my undeniable love for it, but when I get a loaf, I eat it till the last crumble :)
Over the years, in hopes to find a way to savior every last slice, I've tried a bunch of different ways to revive it
and the technique that never disappoints is this:
Stick your bread under water (warm or cold, it's up to you). Set your oven for a 'warm' (300-325 degrees) setting. Place your wet bread into the oven and set a timer for 6-7 minutes. Ta dah!
In the words of
Rochelle: 'What emerges will be a good-as-new loaf: moist on the inside, crackly-crust on the outside.'
Yup, exactly that! Enjoy...
P.S:
Oh yes!
