Let's Celebrate

Monday, April 9, 2018

One of my favourite Chinese proverbs says: 'for every day you celebrate, you keep three days of bad luck away.' So since I'm all about making the little things count, I'm going to spend today doing just that. Who is with me?

Springtime

Tuesday, March 20, 2018

Cheers to the spring equinox! Peeking outside, it doesn't quite look like spring yet, but I hear that it's not long before it will truly arrive. Ah, and when it does I'm planning to take full advantage of it. You? As for me, I'm looking forward to a full spring rebootasparagus sandwiches on repeat, soft morning spring light showing up in our flat and making a batch of this lilac body oil - it's a keeper.

Now, your turn:)

P.S: This.

Flower Beards

Monday, November 20, 2017

Ha, fancy checking out something fun this Monday morning? Have a look at those dudes wearing flower beards! Ever since 2016, artist Geoffroy Mottart has been adding floral beards on Belgium's historic busts as a tribute to those often overlooked statues…

How brilliantly creative, don’t you think?

P.S: Remember those?

Jazzy Floral Glasses

Wednesday, November 1, 2017

There is something utterly beautiful about dried flowers, isn't there? So when I spotted Hannah's brilliant idea of using blooms to decorate your everyday glasses, I was sold! She cleverly created these pressed flower glasses above, using just a few simple tools. I'm totally making a set! How about you?

Bouquet-a-Day

Thursday, October 12, 2017

In 2013, Juliane Strittmatter and her partner moved to a small farm near Hässleholm in Sweden. After they settled in, Juliane started a little daily routine of taking a walk outside just to get to know her new surrounding and ended up picking wildflowers as a creative outlet.

After a while this became her favourite little task and a tiny daily meditation that she looked forward to. Now she documents her small bouquets on her feed and they are totally swoonworthy. Check it out

Summer Wedding Tweak

Wednesday, July 19, 2017

Ah, there is nothing more romantic than a summer outdoor wedding, is there? We've been on two in the last month and both brides wore baby's breath fresh crown. I spent the whole ceremony thinking about how perfectly it complemented the brides, despite their different gown choices. One of them wore a midi-style white dress and the other one sported a floor-length ivory backless gown. This whole thing made me realize that simplicity really works and it actually makes everything more beautiful and special...

What do you think, would you wear it?

P.S: Here is how you can make one yourself.
P.P.S: Fancy more?
