Anyhow, I'll see you all back here next Wednesday morning, but before you get started on celebrations, here is a bunch of awesome links to enjoy.

Grown-Up Easter Eggs

Monday, March 26, 2018

Since Easter is a few short days away, I'm deep in the menu-planning phase. You? One of the things I'm totally certain of is that I'll be making a whole jar of pickled eggs. I'm not sure which ones yet, but here are the eight different variations I'm thinking about, starting with the above pickled turmeric eggs...

Cajun pickled eggs...

Curried pickled eggs...

Beet pickled eggs...

Simply pickled eggs...

Blueberry pickled eggs...

Cabbage pickled eggs...

And soy sauce pickled eggs...

Which one tickles your fancy?

Cheers to the long Easter weekend! How are you spending it? The next couple of days will be all about catching up with friends and enjoying the family over some good food. How about you? Wish everyone a warm, cheery and wonderfully relaxing Easter and I will see you back here on Tuesday morning - bright and early! Have a jolly good time, but before you get on those chocolate eggs, fancy going down the internet-rabbit-hole?

Can a woman be happy without having kids?

Fancy a smile? Watch this:)

I'm totally daydreaming about a springtime stroll in Columbia Road Flower Market right now...

The dishes can wait, and other lies.

Ha, the tiniest house in London is for sale. Would you live in it?

Spaghetti with Marmite - yup!

A few documentaries to change the way you think this spring...

Wow!

Have you seen this swimming pool? There is no way I would step into it. You?

This is important.

Cheetoast anyone?

'The suggestion, in our society, that you can eat a doughnut because it brings you pleasure is still a subversive one.'

Spring cleaning your physical and emotional life.

Ah, what a dreamy kitchen...

How to meditate...

'The hand like the eyes reveal what’s hidden below the surface. It is essential for our evolution and survival.'

And fancy a blast from the past?

- Five years ago today.
- Four years ago the day after tomorrow.

Spring Home Tweak: Rhubarb Bouquet

Thursday, March 30, 2017

Earlier this week I popped by a friend’s flat for a cup of coffee. When I entered, in the centre of the kitchen table there was a beautifully vibrant rhubarb leaves bouquet, standing casually in a glass vase. Yes, the vegetable! I don’t know if it was the grandness of its size or the beautiful mix of deep pink and vivid green hue, but as soon as I left her place, I marched straight to a farmers' market and picked up a rhubarb bouquet for myself.

Try it, it looks amazing and it’s very eye catching too for anyone who pops by! Ah, the little things in life...

P.S: Also, eucalyptus bouquet and Easter carrot bundle.

Easter Flowers

Thursday, March 24, 2016

With Easter just a few short days away, I finally started to make lists of everything we need - better late than never, right? Anyway, a bouquet if mixed wildflowers is on the top of my list. To me, there is nothing more Easter-y than a bunch of wild meadow blooms standing in a jar on a dinner table surrounded by messy dishes, egg shells, cheery chatter and wine stained linen tablecloth. Bring it on, I say:)

Do tell, what are your plans for Easter?

P.S: Remember this Easter egg tree in Germany?
P.P.S: Plus, those eggshell planters and my mom's carrot bouquet.
