Now we are talking! This is definitely the type of workout I can 100% be on board with!
Meet world-class art and sweaty aerobics class in one:) Since early February, The Met offers a 45-minute morning workout throughout the museum (yes, the actual museum) in the company of Monica Bill Barnes and Anna Bass.
The class is accompanied by a score of disco and Motown hits, and of course the most amazing art there is. The creator of the routine, Maira Kalman said: 'when we work out in nature, rather than trying to understand everything we see, we just observe. The implication was that there might be a benefit in taking that same approach to art.'
And it worked. Just imagine squatting in front of John Singer Sargent’s 'Portrait of Madame X' or balancing on one leg before Henry VIII’s rigid armor, or even lying on the floor next to Harriet Whitney Frishmuth’s 'The Vine'.
Incredible, isn’t it?
P.S: The metropolitan bicycle-ride with a bit of style.
P.P.S: A sassy GIVEAWAY is coming up next!
