Wow, how devastating and scary!

Do you remember last November's fire of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park that destroyed more than 2,000 houses in the city of Gatlinburg? Well, moved and saddened by the whole ordeal, Jeremy Cowart created a series of photographs featuring the families who lost everything, posing in the ruins of their houses. It’s his way to pay tribute to the victims, but above all to raise funds to help them start over...

P.S: The burning house...
P.P.S: The magic of not trying so hard.
