Trash Man

Wednesday, November 2, 2016

A week ago, on a sunny Wednesday, Rob Greenfield dressed up in a self-made trash suit containing 84 pounds of waste that he created over the past 30 days and took to the streets of New York for one last casual stroll before the end of his month-long project. His aim was to communicate in a visual and rather powerful manner the scary scale of over-consumption that surrounds us. By doing so, he hopes to get people to re-think the simplest choices they make about food they eat, the water they drink, the gasoline they put into their cars...

Mind you, his 84 pounds of trash is actually a third less than an average American produces over the same time period. Thought-provoking to say the least, isn't it?

P.S: A gallon of water a day.
P.P.S: Family table...
