Swan Hug

Thursday, April 7, 2016

A couple of years ago while visiting the UK’s Abbotsbury Swannery, Richard Wiese ran into an injured swan. The rascal flew into a chain-link fence, got hurt and had to be transported for medical care. In hopes to calm the animal down before its journey, Richard picked him up and to everyone's surprise the swan responded with the biggest gesture of gratitude - a swan hug. The incredible thing is, swans aren’t affectionate and they are pretty territorial when it comes to people, but in that little instance, nothing else mattered

How special!

P.S: Also, Lilly the deer and Amelia the hedgehog.
P.P.S: Plus, those two :)
