After-Dinner Mint

Tuesday, April 19, 2016

Last Friday Balazs and I headed over to friends for dinner. It’s a lovely couple who over the years perfected the art of curry making, so a feast in their home is always a true indulgence that I look forward to.

Having said that, the thing that blew me away this time around was the dessert - homemade frozen chocolate-dipped mints. Have you had them before? I’m usually not a fan of minty things, but boy, oh boy, those little suckers are a perfect refreshment after a spicy meal.

And so easy to make too:
Just melt half cup of dark chocolate and dip in fresh mint leaves, holding on to the stem side with your fingers and place each chocolate dipped mint leaf on a parchment-covered baking sheet. Freeze them uncovered until hardened - for about 20 minutes. That is all!

P.S: Also, Parisian desserts.
P.P.S: And clementines in wine.
