Ice Cream Cone Seed Starter

Monday, March 21, 2016

Ha, are you planning to grow your own veggies, herbs or fruits this year? If so, you should give ice cream cones a try! Yup, planting seeds never looked cooler or easier. Using an ice cream cone as a seed starter works exactly like toilet paper rolls or egg shells, but way cooler! My mom tried it last year with peppers and I’m planning to give it a go with cherry tomatoes this April.

Here is the how to: buy a few ice cream cones, fill them with soil, pop in your seeds of choice and watch it sprout. As soon as you have shoots, plant the whole thing in a garden, or a big pot on your balcony. Ta dah!

P.S: Jarred plants and peony harvest.
P.P.S: How to create your own urban herb garden, and use, regrow, repeat.
