Without a doubt, buying fresh flowers is an easily skippable weekly activity. Some people think it's a waste of money, others simply don't even bother since they are never home, but it is actually a very important part of our home-life.
According to Maxwell Ryan, we should start thinking about a weekly flower run as a gift to our home, instead of a treat to ourselves. It is an enjoyable and affordable luxury, but it goes far beyond just that. The flowers are a visual symbol of our commitment to caring for our home.
"As simple as it sounds, the act of buying flowers for your apartment holds great significance and will heal your home on many levels. They are beautiful, they add life to the space, they help to humidify and cleanse the air."
If you work away from home during the week, try picking up a fresh bunch on Friday afternoon, so you can enjoy it more over the weekend. What do you think? Are you game?
P.S: Also, flowers make you less anxious:)
P.P.S: Plus, tons more flower power.
