Wired Giants

Blimey, how beautiful are those sculptures? Edoardo Tresoldi is an Italian artist who constructs incredibly accurate representations of the human form using wire mesh. These enormous figures are said to be as realistic as a person frozen in action. The aspect that makes them look even more human-like is the transparency of the material that offers a moment or a memory: as in a photo or a letter. Genius! I'd love to stumble upon one of them. You?

P.S: Remember those floating sculptures or this underwater art museum?
P.P.S: Shanghai's bike couriers and those amazing Brooklyn stairs.

Those are amazing! They remind me of the work of an artist who made sculptures out of old fashioned (metal) clothing hangers. Thanks for sharing these :-)
