Detroit Then and Now

Thursday, July 9, 2015

Saddened by Detroit’s major economic and demographic decline in recent decades, photographer Flora Borsi created a photo project showing everyone how the city, its streets and buildings might have looked in past decades. She found pictures from the previous century and combined them with the photographs she took during her recent visit to Detroit.

Incredibly beautiful and thought-provoking, don’t you think?

P.S: Also, Budapest and Paris.
P.P.S: Plus, a dash of vintage NYC.

The church in that state of disrepair is really the saddest. It's unfortunate to see so much degradation of the city.
