"The tree isn’t really that unique ... but it's more about what you choose to see."
It’s commonly known that things tend to blend into the background, especially when we see them over and over again. The fact is, even the most random things can look different each day depending on weather, seasons or changing surroundings - we just often don't bother to actually look at them.
A few years ago, photographer Patrik Svedberg stopped by this rather unremarkable tee on Lake Vättern in Sweden and snapped a photo of it for his instagram feed. The following month he realized that the same exact tree looked totally different due to a different weather condition and changing season, so he snapped another photo of the same tree. After that day, he realized how versatile world really is and he started to document this rather unremarkable tree to show that if we take the time to actually look and observe things, we will finally stop missing out on all the beauty around us.
Don't you just love this? Ah, the little things in life...
P.S: Are you fully present in the moment?
P.P.S: One thing this year...
