The Big Cloud

Thursday, February 19, 2015

As a kid, I had a friend who loved chasing storms. We used to sit outside surrounded by the amazing Wyoming landscape daydreaming about clouds. Similarly to him, Camilla Seaman always felt a connection to nature, so growing up she became a storm chaser. She says she can’t resist stalking those lovely monsters. They always remind her of the times she spent playing outside with her grandfather and him telling stories of clouds' life-cycle. How incredible is nature?

P.S: Mammatus phenomenon.
P.P.S: Rainbow cloud.

Stunning images! And what a coincidence, just yesterday a friend told me to watch this TED talks on clouds by the founder of the "Cloud Appreciation Society" :) http://www.ted.com/talks/gavin_pretor_pinney_cloudy_with_a_chance_of_joy?language=de
