Do you ever have trouble sleeping? Especially in this heat, I’ve been having the hardest time falling asleep. I tend to toss and turn all night long and wake up very tired the next morning. So recently just before bedtime, I started massaging the soles of my feet with lavender oil and I already see a huge difference. Supposedly rubbing lavender oil on your feet ensures a very quick absorption into your bloodstream that soothes your nerves and relaxes you in an instant while inducing sleep. Try it, it’s awesome!
Do you know any great uses of essential oils? Do you use them? (Hope everyone had a jolly good weekend. Good to be back). xo
P.S: Miracle travel mist.
P.P.S: How to never have another junk food craving and how to fuel your day.

I am definitely going to try this! Thanks for the tip!
Ever since I read your blog, I started to use the eucalyptus oil for laundry and it's great. Jill
I don't know anything about oils, but I know hot milk helps me get to sleep. Actually, I'm kind of addicted to it, and have it almost every night before bed.
good tip! i should try that one! xo jillian - cornflake dreams
I use an essential oil-plug in diffuser but this sounds so much easier!
Oooo! I will have to try that. I like to take a cool shower before bedtime on really hot nights. xo, Katie
I haven't used essential oils before but maybe I should. I've been having trouble sleeping too. I definitely think its the heat.
Sounds like a trick worth trying, at least it will give you yummy smelling feet ;-)
I absolutely need to try this!!

I don't usually have trouble sleeping because I often don't go to bed until I'm exhausted. I have been using the Aesop Ginger flight therapy oil, find it's a mixture of 'awakening' and relaxing. It really calms me down and that is usually helpful for sleep xoxox
Ugh, yes the heat does not help these days. I used to use lavender oil, but it didn't make such a difference for me. My best sleeping comes from a bubble bath followed by a book until I can't keep my eyes open!
My pleasure, Sally!
So glad you like it, Jill! I use it everytime I do laundry.
Eliza, my dad does the same. He loves a hot cup of milk in the evening.
Jana, it's super easy, indeed.
Katie, Oh yes! Cool showers are so good:)
Rachel, must be. It has been so hot lately.
Vanisha, I use the Aesop's ginger flight therapy oil sometimes too. It's so good:)
I like that a lot, Steph - Bath and book!
Diana! I blogged about this! My friend started her own holistic natural skincare project and she came up with the most amazing sole-oil consisting of jojoba oil with essential lavender oil and mandarine and rose. It´s so amazing and works well in a foot bath too!
P.S. I nominated express-O for the Bloglovin´ 2014 awards! Good luck xo
Martie, that sole-oil sounds amazing! I bet it smells great too :) Also, thank you for nominating exPress-o. SO sweet of you:) xoxo
