Summer dessert under 3 minutes

Thursday, May 29, 2014

Last night we popped over to friends for dinner and I discovered my new favourite dessert. Yup, after homemade fish tacos, Lola treated us to mango slices sprinkled with lime juice and a dash of salt. One of the simplest and prettiest dishes ever but super refreshing and summer perfect! Somehow the salt brings out the mango sweetness, while the lime refreshes it. Have you ever tried it? What’s your favourite summer dessert?

P.S: Clementines in wine.
P.P.S:Vanilla ice :)

Mmm! This sounds delicious! Never tried it this way, but it's similar to how I eat grapefruit with a sprinkle of salt. xo, Katie

No, I'll have to try this soon! Looks delicious. My summer go-to has been froyo; a slightly healthier version of ice cream, but just as tasty! :)

Oh no its no longer mango season here. I'll have to remember this. Speaking of unusual combos, watermelon and feta is a winner. Yum yum
