2-minute low braided bun

Tuesday, May 13, 2014

What's your hairdo of choice nowadays? This little bun has been my go-to do for the past few weeks! It's super easy to make, very low-key but also pretty sassy at the same time. It looks great with jeans and Converse for everyday errands, but it also fits great with a little white dress and red lips for a saucy date night.

Fancy giving it a go? Here is the full how to:

P.S: Also, this little nifty bun trick and tons more hair goodness.
P.P.S: How to wear your hair like a true Parisian!

I cannot wait for my hair to be bit longer for this hairdo but by summer I am going to wear it for sure. Jill

Oh, I am so trying this tomorrow morning! Thanks for the inspiration. I've been looking for something to mix up my usual top knot, side bun or down and this should do the trick :) x

Oh I love this. I'm going to try this as well. I need to shake up my usual ponytail or bun. -Katie

Do you flip the pony tail through only once or twice?

Diana Mieczan said...

Lauren, once. The second time you just roll up your braid and pin it. Hope that helps:)

I am confused with the first step? Are you meant to split your hair in two before you put it into a pony tail? Her hands are in the way so I can't see at all

Diana Mieczan said...

Anonymous, here are all the steps:
1. Start with untangled hair!
2. Gather your hair into a low pony. Put on an elastic.
3. Divide your hair into two sections — down the middle and above your elastic. Pull your pony through the division you created.
4-5. Pull tight and adjust.
6-7. Braid the pony.
8. Roll and pin up your braid.

Hope that helps:)
