Orange Lips For Spring

Monday, April 28, 2014

What’s your lipstick colour of choice this spring? I’m smitten with all things orangey-red and I can’t wait to pop by Topshop this afternoon to try their Lips in Infrared lippy (above). Isn't it sassy?

After spotting Sarah wearing it the other day, I’ve been dying to get it too since it gives that 1920's glam with a modern twist. Btw: my friend Sofia tried it over the weekend and she described it as the smoothest and sexiest shade she has ever worn. Eek, I’m excited! Would you try it? xo

P.S: Plus, this nifty trick to prevent your nail polish from chipping.
P.P.S: Pretty!

Absolutely! I just picked up an orangey coral last month. So fun to wear! Watch this great video by Lisa Eldridge on wearing an orange lip. http://www.lisaeldridge.com/video/26194/how-to-wear-an-orange-lip-keira-knightley-red-carpet-look/

I feel I could not pull this off, but it looks lovely on others and is so fun for spring and summer! Hope you are well, Diana! :)

I have never given orange a go but this photo is totally inspiring to get down the shops immediately. It looks lovely!

Orange, red, bright pink, you name it and I wear it. I love a bright lipstick in spring summer and sometimes in winter as well :)

I really want to try this coral trend - it's so hard for me to find full coverage that doesn't dry out my lips!
chic on the cheap

Love it! I've been using Benefit's Coralista for a couple of years now,(works better in the tropics as it is a stain so don't come off easy). This shade looks lovely!

Yes! So refreshing. I have been using a coral one lately which has an orange tint, but not quite as vibrant as this. x

The color looks great on her! I am a bit hesitant when it comes to orange. It´s not really a hue that suits me though a love the orangey red of OPI´s Monsooner or later nail polish - that one as lip color and I might give it a try as well :)

Lyddie, try pairing it up with a bit of Rosebud Salve. It works great for me:) Hope that helps.
